Guamanians who had food loss or damage caused by Typhoon Mawar could qualify for the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Senators will discuss a bill that would provide Guamanians with some relief at gas pumps during emergency session at 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, by the Guam Legislature.
 

A power outage in Piti and parts of Asan could last through 7 p.m. today as power crews from Snohomish PUD Washington help Guam Power Authority repair the 115kV Transmission line. The work requires a certain distribution feeder line, which feeds power to customers in Piti and Asan, be secured, according to GPA.

The Guam Power Authority implemented a two-hour rotating outage schedule for June 17 as crews repair a 115kV line.

Worksite Labs, which operates in 23 major cities and seven states, has launched its first Diagnostic Center in Guam.

GPA said work continues on the Cabras 1 unit, as well as on transmission lines. Yigo is the village with the lowest restoration of 42.7% as of June 15, followed by Dededo at 59.2%.
Customers with significant damages will be addressed in Phase III recovery efforts set for the week of June 19.
