Interesting studies on performance reviews. I guess it really depends on a company’s objective(s) when it comes to evaluations of its employees. For us, performance reviews play an essential role in communicating expectations, managing productivity, and fostering accountability. While that might sound a bit cliché or even archaic given today’s declining trend of performance reviews, we focus heavily on coaching and mentoring across all levels, which starts with leadership.
