The Governor’s Christmas Parade returned to Skinner Plaza on Thursday, Dec. 12, featuring 36 floats and marching units alongside 25 vendor booths, drawing families and visitors from across the island.
This year’s theme, “The Colors of Christmas,” celebrated Guam’s rich cultural diversity, with vibrant displays and performances lighting up the heart of Hagåtña. Since its debut in 2022, the event has become a hallmark of the Leon Guerrero-Tenorio administration, bringing the community together for the holiday season.
The parade coincided with the annual Christmas light display at Skinner Plaza, transforming the area into a festive wonderland. Attendees were treated to holiday music, local foods, and handcrafted goods from vendors.
Gov. Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero said in a release, “Christmas is a time to come together as a community, and this parade is a testament to our island’s unity, creativity, and spirit.”
