GPA said in a release that the technology will allow the authority to monitor, mitigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats within their network.
Additionally, it would also provide added connectivity improvements making it more reliable for critical infrastructures and operations sites to communicate.
GPA’s general manager, John M. Benavente, said in the release, “This grant award demonstrates GPA’s resourcefulness as we work to remain one step ahead of cybersecurity threats.”
This funding follows an additional $2.3 million in OT network cybersecurity grant projects from DOE and other federal partners. mbj
