Courage, confidence, and choice at a special University of Guam student presentation. Local high school and college students gathered at the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Student Success Center Dining Hall on May 22 for "The Journey Is Yours: Courage, Confidence, & Choice." The event featured award-winning actress and best-selling author Edwina Findley, who shared her personal journey from Harlem to Hollywood to inspire the next generation of local leaders. Findley also served as the keynote speaker for the Fañomnåkan 2026 Commencement Ceremony on May 24, which celebrated 369 undergraduate and graduate degree recipients, consisting of 309 undergraduate and 60 graduate students.
