Agile Reaper will take place from April 10 to April 17, with Andersen Air Force Base in Guam as its hub.
Aside from the 36th Wing at Andersen, the 3rd Air Expeditionary Wing from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, will participate for the second time and controlling the exercise.
The exercise “will also include members of the 15th Wing at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, [the]157th Air Refueling Wing at Pease Air National Guard Base, New Hampshire, and total-force partners with the U.S. Air Force Reserve’s 477th Fighter Group, and the 168th and 176th Wings from the Alaska National Guard,” according to a March 26 release, from the 3rd Air Expeditionary Wing.
In all, approximately 800 Airmen are expected to fly, maintain and support aircraft operating at five separate locations during the exercise, the release said.
During Agile Reaper last year, F-22 Raptors assigned to the 525th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, at Kadena Air Base in Japan flew sorties from Tinian, which the U.S. Air Force plans to use consistently, according to Journal files.
Also participating in 2023 was an MQ-9 Reaper, from the 53rd Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. and assigned to the 556th Test and Evaluation Squadron at Creech Air Force Base, Nev. mbj
