GTA donated $20,000 to the United Services Organization as a gold sponsor. GTA’s in-kind services include long-distance, high-speed internet, landlines, wireless, and Digital TV services for the USO centers in Tumon Bay, at Andersen Air Force Base and Naval Base Guam.
GTA also donated $5,000 to the University of Guam Endowment Foundation’s Lina’la-ta Series which focuses on Guam’s history, music, and heritage.

Glimpses of Guam — holding company of Glimpses Media and Glimpses Advertising, Subway Restaurants, Chili’s Grill & Bar, Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Guam) Inc. and Foremost Foods Inc. donated $6,000 to the Guam Chapter of the American Red Cross as a Gold Sponsor of the 2022 Red Ball.
TakeCare Insurance Co. Inc. — a Tan Holdings company is sponsoring the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association through a five-year sponsorship of the youth soccer league at $10,000 per year.
The Emerald Pacific Group which does business as Alamo Rent a Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental donated $3,000 to support operations for the United Service Organizations centers at Andersen Air Force Base, Tumon Bay, and Naval Base Guam and USO outreach programming for military units throughout Saipan, Rota, Tinian and Palau.
Takagi & Associates donated $30,000 to the University of Guam Endowment Foundation – the final installment of the company’s four-year pledge of $150,000. Of the sum, $10,000 will go to research projects at the Micronesian Area Research Center and $20,000 going towards research on Japanese tourism in Guam by Fred R. Schumann, professor of global resources management at UOG.
Triple J Ford donated $5,000 each to the United Services Organization Guam, the Guam Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Micronesian Conservation Coalition. The donations were made on behalf of the Ford Motor Co. as part of Ford’s annual Giving Month in March.
Docomo Pacific donated $6,000 to the Guam Chapter of the American Red Cross as a Gold Sponsor of the 2022 Red Ball.
The Arriola Law Firm donated the equivalent of $1,000 in lunch plates from King’s Restaurant to frontliners at Guam Memorial Hospital.
Atkins Kroll Saipan donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross of the Northern Mariana Islands Chapter for a Lifetime Achievement Sponsorship.
The Asian & Pacific Islander Americans Scholars — formerly the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund — awarded two full-time Guam Community College students with $2,500 each toward their studies at GCC.
The Guam Association of Realtors has been hosting a supply drive at stores on Guam, to solicit cleaning, COVID protection and personal hygiene items for residents of St. Dominic’s care home and a food drive for Victim Advocates Reaching Out.
Moda Ginos donated 50 bags filled with items such as non-perishable foods and hygiene products to the village of Inalahan in February. Moda Ginos will be delivering care packages to one village every month.
While visiting Saipan from Guam, officers and crew of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Oliver Henry painted parking curbs at the Commonwealth Economic Development Authority’s property. They were joined by members of the Governor’s Council of Economic advisers and members of the Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs.
Members of the Rotary Club of Northern Guam painted the concrete bleachers at the Tamuning Multi-Purpose Park, after Tamuning Mayor Louise Rivera reported incidents of graffiti.
