
The Department of CHamoru Affairs/Guam Museum and the Guam Commission on Decolonization held a press conference on Nov. 4 at the Guam Cultural Repository in Mangilao on the return of a ifit walking stick gifted by CHamoru political pioneers Francisco Baza Leon Guerrero and B.J. Bordallo to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1936. The walking stick was discovered by John and Connie Upp of West Jordan, Utah (who attended virtually).
