International commodity price trends continue to drive the outlook across the subregion, although domestic factors such as supply chain disruptions and increased wages could also exert pressures in certain economies. The subregional average for 2024 masks lower than projected inflation in Palau, where price increases were significantly more muted across all major components of the consumer price basket.”
