The Spring Farmers Market is returning on Saturday, May 10, with fresh produce, handmade crafts, live entertainment—and a Månnok (chicken) Show.

The family-friendly event, hosted by Fam Farms, will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fort Santa Agueda in Agana Heights. Organizers say it’s an opportunity for families to shop, eat, and enjoy time together just in time for Mother’s Day.
“We’re excited to highlight the amazing creativity of our local community,” said Storm Piper, co-founder of Fam Farms. “It’s a perfect place to shop for the women who hold mother roles in our lives. From locally grown produce & fresh flower arrangements to unique jewelry pieces and art pieces, you’ll be sure to find something really special at the market!”

Vendors and youth or neni entrepreneurs will be selling locally grown fruits and vegetables, handcrafted jewelry and art, fresh flower arrangements, homemade lemonade and more.
Food trucks will be on-site offering barbecue plates, sweet treats, and other local favorites. Live music from local performers will play throughout the afternoon.
One of the featured attractions is the 2nd Annual Månnok Show, a poultry showcase organized by Goats & Giggles and Fam Farms. The event invites backyard farmers and chicken enthusiasts to present their best birds in two competition categories: Best Chicken Breed and Best Egg.
A panel of local judges will evaluate entries based on health, appearance, uniqueness, and egg quality. Chicken entries will be processed between 1 and 3 p.m. Participation in the show is free and open to all ages.
Shoppers will also have a chance to win a free Mother’s Day Gift Basket by supporting participating vendor booths.
Admission is free, and all are welcome. For more details, follow @famfarm.gu and @goatsandgiggles on Instagram. mbj
