Two U.S. aircraft carriers will visit Guam for port visits
Guam can expect two aircraft carriers to visit Guam back-to-back from Dec. 1 through Dec. 10.

As word reached Naval Base Guam, base outlets prepared for longer hours of opening, and island businesses expected to offer hospitality during a Liberty Call scrambled to prepare on Nov. 29.
The George Washington last visited Guam in August.
Port visits are an opportunity for a crew to tour the island, get some “rest and relaxation,” and for the ship to resupply. In August the strike group had sailors from Guam among its crew. mbj
