GPA said work continues on the Cabras 1 unit, as well as on transmission lines. Yigo is the village with the lowest restoration of 42.7% as of June 15, followed by Dededo at 59.2%.
Customers with significant damages will be addressed in Phase III recovery efforts set for the week of June 19.
A crew arriving from the Pohnpei Utilities Corp., consisting of seven linemen and a deputy chief of power distribution, have been assigned to work alongside GPA’s T&D linemen and other visiting crews.
94 GWA wells operational
Miguel C. Bordallo, general manager of the Guam Waterworks Authority; said GWA surpassed its goal to bring 90 wells into operation, with 94 wells in operation as of June 14.
Telecom companies say unstable power an issue

On the website, customers can find newly restored village areas and other places in the villages where services are restored in full. Docomo said “generators may experience intermittent power due to high fuel demand and to power-cycle your device if you are not receiving service even if your area is listed.”
IT&E said on June 15 that 96% of its existing cell sites are operational.

GTA’s core network is fully operational and off-island internet connections are stable with ample capacity.
According to GTA most of its wireless network cell sites are operational, but the main challenge is keeping generators fueled and maintained until island power is restored. GTA said, “This is a fluid situation and cell sites may go down due to island power fluctuations or generator issues. Customers that are experiencing wireless service issues can contact our Support Center for updates and assistance.”
FEMA aids port employees and tenants
The Port of Guam advised that the Federal Emergency Management Agency opened a Registration Intake Center June 15, so that its staff can claimants with registration, filing a claim, provide updates on the status of an application, and general inquiries. The intake center will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. June 15 through June 17.

The Office of the Governor of Guam said issues with the Red Cross Shelter at the Guam Pak warehouse are being addressed, but also said potential shelters such as schools were badly damaged during the typhoon.
The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services is working alongside the American Red Cross to isolate families with influenza and minimize further exposure, a release said.
