The GCA Trades Academy presented level completion certificates to 32 students who completed levels in the core curriculum, safety, heavy equipment, electrical, erosion and sediment control, and construction craft labor.
Also, to meet the high demand for crane operators, the rigger and crane certification starts the last week of July, according to a press release. Students will be prepared for the practical and written examinations with hands-on and classroom learning in order to become certified crane operators.
The GCA Trades Academy offers a wide variety of training programs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, construction craft laborer, safety, project management, welding, and heavy equipment operation.
