Located in the ITC building, the Bank of Guam Tamuning Branch has reopened as a larger facility that boasts new digital tools and a look toward sustainable living.
The bank branch was closed during the pandemic. Officials used the time to reinvent the space, which included doubling its size, now measuring at 3,986 square feet.
A lobby manager welcomes customers into the new branch and can help customers with some of the new functions like the QR code sign-in for an appointment. After signing in, customers can visit stores or other establishments; an SMS or email message will be sent to the customer when it’s their turn to see a customer service representative. The branch also offers secure wireless connection that can be used to access the bank’s online services.
Just making a quick deposit? The branch now has two in-branch ATMs and one drive-up.
A rather unique feature is a community meeting room, which is open for non-profit organizations to meet, according to the press release. Official said the room is a signal of their dedication to supporting “the greater good.”
The bank also has a “living wall” that adds a breath of freshness to the space. The wall, according to bank officials, is a reaffirmation of their “responsibility towards a more sustainable future”.
Murals also help bring an island vibe to the banks. Joshua Agerstrand painted murals inside the branch while Opake painted the area near the drive-up.

Cook, Bank of Guam President and Chief Executive Officer shared that.
The now renovated branch is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. mbj
