ELCOME Pacific — a subsidiary of ELCOME International LLC — has completed a multi-country Starlink deployment for the Bank of Guam. The installation of the Starlink Private Network Interconnect links Bank of Guam branches and offices across Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands.

For Bank of Guam, the deployment was not about replacing fiber, it was about strengthening it. By implementing high-speed low Earth orbit satellite connectivity as a parallel network path, Bank of Guam created network diversity, a release from ELCOME to the Journal said. Joaquin P.L.G. Cook, president and CEO of Bank of Guam, said, “Business continuity and resilient connectivity is key to our business operations and fundamental to maintaining safe, secure and stable access to our services for our customers,” said Joaquin Cook, President and CEO of Bank of Guam. “By integrating high-speed satellite connectivity alongside our terrestrial infrastructure, we have strengthened our network resilience and enhanced our ability to serve customers across the Pacific — regardless of geographic or infrastructure challenges.” ELCOME provides a Starlink service for merchant fleets, and various defense and security products for defense forces. Operating internationally, ELCOME is also the sales and service representative for multiple original equipment manufacturers.
