Bargain Tactical has launched its newest addition to its services. Axe throwing, airsoft, and an archery range are activities now available for those looking to find a new hobby and excitement on the island.
Angel Rodriguez, sales manager and trainer for Bargain Tactical, is new to the island and said he saw an opportunity to create something for Guam, something he saw was popular back in his home state.
Rodriguez told The Journal that he took on the challenge given to him by the owner of Bargain Tactical to create the space by himself after “sharing an interest in creating this range.”
With his background working for motion pictures and set building, Rodriguez used his skills, brought them to the Bargain Tactical team and built the range in just a few months.
People interested can book an appointment over the phone or come into the store and try activities open to all ages.
Rodriguez said training is for the safety of individuals and those around them.
“The same regulations and protocols apply to when you are using an actual firearm when you learn how to shoot an airsoft gun as well as archery.”
He said, “A good amount of people have inquired and came in to try it out. … Bargain Tactical has received numerous positive feedbacks.”
Rodriguez said growth is in discussion. “There are future plans to expand the space, adding lounge space for possible space reservations once more and more people show their support for this new thrill.”
The services range from $10 to $45 depending on time, axe throws, and gun magazine usage.
“The more people we introduce this service to the more it could expand the community on the island, adding a new activity for people to do,” Rodriguez said.
Bargain Tactical is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Other island activities include the addition of services at Paniq45, located in Tumon, across Club Icon.
The venue has added laser tag, axe throwing, and a splash room on top of its escape and rage room services, as well as a cafe that serves food and drinks.
Laser tag provides an opportunity for people of all ages to engage in a little physical activity and friendly competition. Games available include hard point; team death march; BOMB; elimination; and flag Runner. Games range from $10 to $34 per person depending on time.
The splash room is a great activity for all ages to let a person's creative juices flow by splattering paint on a canvas and leaving with a colorful, one-of-a-kind creation. Prices range from $22 to $40 depending on canvas size.
Axe throwing costs $20 per person for 1 hour.
Paniq45 provides two different escape rooms, one being “The Collector” and the other “How to Train a Zombie.” Both last for 45 minutes and can host a maximum of 10 people per room. Price range $22 to $35 per person.
In the range room you can use anything from a bat to a sledgehammer and destroy items such as bottles, TVs, and more for 20 minutes to almost an hour. Prices range from $45 to $338 depending on time and the amount of people joining the fun.
Paniq45 provides a unique space to host parties, events, and team bonding experiences, all under one roof.
Paniq45 is open daily from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday is by reservation only and walk-ins are available Friday to Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. mbj
