The Palmer family in collaboration with the U.S. Armed Forces Veterans Association of Palau and the Bethania Alumni Association held a celebration of life for the late Evan "Edam" Palmer on Jan. 18 in Peleliu, Republic of Palau. Palmer served as a Navy corpsman in Peleliu during World War II and later became a missionary teacher at the Emmaus-Bethania High School in Koror.
