The Guam Visitors Bureau’s board of directors convened on Feb. 6 for a special meeting that went into executive session for over two hours.
According to notices posted by GVB, the meeting’s agenda centered around two items: to discuss potential litigation and a resolution to hire a general manager.
The board did not hold discussions regarding the hiring of a new general manager, but is scheduled to reconvene on Feb. 19.
The Journal reported that in the board’s Jan. 24 meeting, the Search Committee recommended former senator, Régine Biscoe Lee, for the general manager position and EJ Calvo for the deputy general manager position. mbj
