The two leaders joined U.S. Marines and Sailors from I Marine Expeditionary Force who are currently deployed in Palau as part of Operation Koa Moana. The operation works to strengthen alliances and partnerships with development of interoperable capabilities, combined operations, theater security cooperation, and capacity-building efforts, according to military officials.
