The Westin Resort Guam is still listed for sale on the Collier’s website, after the initial posting of the hotel in June last year.
The master lease is due to end this month, according to Journal files.

In April 2016, the resort was sold to Pioneer Holdings Corporation and Haevichi Hospitality Guam for $125 million. Pioneer Holdings is a real estate private equity fund managed by IGIS Asset Management. Haevichi Hospitality Guam is controlled by Haevichi Hotels & Resorts, a unit of Seoul-based Hyundai Motor Group, according to Journal files.
For background on this story, see Colliers Brokers Sale of Westin Resort Guam; Master Lease Ends April 2026 . Colliers said at the time the sale “… would provide investors with the flexibility to renew the Westin brand, rebrand, or self-operate the hotel.” Colliers did not respond to a request for an update.
But Westin did emphasize it is still under the same management. For the property, it’s business as usual, with the Prego restaurant due to soon re-open for lunch. The hotel continues to market its villa packages, and room rates on the Westin site upwards of $195 per night. The hotel is also popular for its restaurant offerings, and typically the location for meetings of the Guam Contractors Association. mbj
