The Rotary Club of Northern Guam hosted its annual 9/11 Wreath Laying Ceremony, at Puntan Dos Amantes (Two Lovers Point) in Tumon. The event was dedicated to individuals who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, and commemorated Patriot Day and the National Day of Service and Remembrance. Dozens of local, U.S. military, and federal government representatives attended the event, as did representatives of first responders and organizations in Guam. Groups of dignitaries participated in laying wreaths at a new Peace Memorial which was unveiled during the ceremony.
