The Guam Visitors Bureau has launched a Homecoming Campaign, together with United Airlines.
GVB is inviting more than 150,000 Guamanians living in the U.S. mainland and Hawaii, to celebrate Guam’s 80th Liberation Day in July. If 2.5% of that group take up the special offer it will generate about 4,000 visitors.
The ticketing period is from April 15 to June 1, with the travel period from July 1 to Aug. 15, with enquiries through guam80thliberation@united.com, offering a potential discount of up to 30%. GVB will match United’s discount of 15%, with 15% of its own, according to the bureau. mbj
