As the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30 approaches, military construction awards are being made in high numbers.
Among the latest list of 34 awards, Core Tech-HDCC-Kajima LLC was awarded a $289.76 million “firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of P-649, a joint communications upgrade,” at Marine Corps Camp Blaz, according to a Sept. 23 release CHamoru Standard Time from the U.S. Department of War.
Work is expected to be completed by March 2029. Three proposals were received and the award for a base award and four options was made by Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific.
If the options are exercised, the cumulative contract value will be $357.01 million.
Environmental Compliance Consultants Inc. was awarded a contract for “fence-to-fence environmental services at 22 Air Force installations” in Wake Island, Hawaii and Alaska. “The amount of this action is $7,536,321 with a total cumulative face value of $53,118,883,” according to the same release.
ECC, Tutor-Perini Corp. and Hensel Phelps Construction were among 13 companies awarded a $15 billion design-build, design-bid-build contract for Air Force Civil Engineering Center construction services worldwide “at various locations worldwide” by the 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Joint Base Lackland-San Antonio, Texas.
