Pacific Unlimited Inc. has been awarded a maximum $980 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for full-line food distribution, according to a Sept. 30 release CHamoru Standard Time from the U.S. Department of War.

This is a five-year contract with one five-year option period. The ordering period end date is Sept. 30, 2030. Using customers are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. The contract was awarded by the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia, Penn.
Founded in 1986, Pacific Unlimited is locally owned in Guam, and “is a full-service food logistics company that specializes in the supply and delivery of perishable and semi-perishable food items and food service supplies to restaurants, hotels, schools, and federal government facilities,” according to its website.
John Limtiaco is the company’s president. Sister companies to Pacific Unlimited include Far East Equipment Co. LLC and Pacific Trucking.
In related news, Lockheed Martin Corp. was awarded Sept. 24 “a sole-source, hybrid, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost-plus-incentive-fee contract modification under the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Weapon Systems contract. The total value of this contract modification is $44.15 million.
“The work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey; and Guam, with period of performance from time of award through April 2026,” according to a Department of War release. “The effort continues implementation of Integrated Air and Missile Defense capabilities into the Aegis BMD Weapon Systems design for Aegis Guam System,” the release said. The value of the contract increases from $1.49 billion to more than $1.52 billion and the award was made by the Missile Defense Agency. mbj
